Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Paris, France 

Location: Paris (Hybrid - 3 days p/w on-site)

Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and its impact on the photography industry? We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a growing team working at the forefront of Camera/Image evaluation and AI. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy ML models for image quality assessment.

  • Automate data quality controls and maintain databases.

  • Advocate for best practices in code version control, software quality delivery, and data versioning.

  • Collaborate in the definition and utilization of ML tracking and testing software.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in ML/DL scientific literature, particularly in image quality assessment. E.g. CVPR, ICCV etc. 

Candidate Profile:

  • Engineering School Graduate in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Image Processing.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience coding in Python and implementing ML models into production.

  • Proficiency in common DevOps tools such as git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed computing (e.g., Jenkins).

  • Familiarity with data version control systems like DVC and Azure Data sets.

  • Experience with MLOps tools for model tracking, testing, and serving (e.g., MLFlow, Weights & Biases).

  • Fluent in English and French.

Nice to have: Company experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or related fields, with production models and ML pipelines. Knowledge in image quality evaluation or telephone cameras. Understanding of SCRUM and AGILE methodology.
